The agency announced in a news release it will offer free testing for residents at three clinics between June 1 and June 30. If you are sexually active, getting tested for STIs is one of the most important things you can do to protect your health, Central District Health said. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends that everyone between the ages of 13 and 64 get tested for HIV at least once in their lifetime, the release said.
